Message	There has to be some other common thread here. Lots of people have been running the old style 555s for a long time with no issues. I don't know if the manufacturing has changed or if it in some way is affected by tuning or ECU selection. But either way, the recent failure rate is way beyond allowable margins for a manufacturer.
